A Photo Diary: Girls Day Out

Konnichiwa~!

Spent days editing photos to create this mini photo book (*⌒∇⌒*) Always wanted to make one but didn't get much chance because it's not like there's cafes with lotsa nice photos to take near my place... Been wanting to go to this Garden Cafe & Lifestyle Store in Mid Valley forever 'cuz the interior's just so pretty!

Finally went there with a friend, Nadia whom I got to know from class with an excuse to study but we didn't LOL

Since it's such a pretty place, I told myself I MUST bring the camera along! Outdoor photo chance!!

This July, I'm planning to take tons of photos from my trip in Japan to make another photo book and then have it printed out! (*°▽°*)♪ I'm so-o-o looking forward to my trip there but I really need to plan for it ASAP. Didn't confirm a thing yet and yet I still spend time editing this photos gahh (X__X )

I'M BACK!!

Finally!ヽ(；▽；)ノ

It's been over 2 agonizing weeks despite my trying my best to keep myself occupied without my lappie. So glad it's back I tell you. Initially I have decided to write a "How I survive without my laptop, AND internet for 2 weeks" but that somehow didn't quite work out LOL

Week one was still bearable, with me occupying myself browsing my new ViVi magazine and studying, then browsing through my old stacks of magazines. On the first weekend, I hung out with friends and study some more but by the 2nd weekend I had morphed into the living dead.

I probably had stared at all the walls in the house long enough out of boredom when after hours of studying, slept for an unhealthy 15+++ hours straight, visited the cyber cafe to rent a desktop for 2 hours which didn't make up for the loss of my close companion who has always serve as my personal library, answering 101 questions that runs in my mind everyday.

Maybe it's some sorta withdrawal symptom from being very dependent on my lappie(and internet), but looking back, the period without lappie had not been my most productive weeks at home. Thank god for work and classes to keep me occupied for most of the other time!

Sorry for having to bare with all my ramblings ( >A< )

Now that I have my lappie back, it's time to make up for the posts which I have been wanting to share. An OOTD post soon! ♪ヽ( ⌒o⌒ﾉ)

Move, or fall forward

Ok, maybe it's the whole internet withdrawal thingy. The past week has been really depressing and hectic so much that my colleagues noticed it and asked if I'm in a bad mood. While I try to keep my time occupied, which I succesfuly do so in the first week by re-reading almost all the magazines I have and then study Japanese and memorize over a hundred kanjis. A number of times I find myself booking a computer in the cyber cafe but then nothing beats having your own lappie ready at all times.

Then maybe it's having to spend money fixing my lappie. I AM SUPER THANKFUL I have some $ in account. I remind myself that every single time but having to spend money suddenly stings, the pain of adulthood who's trying to save some $ to live her dream :((

Or is it not being able to move forward with my plan on earning money by contacting sponsors. As a believer of the Power, with just one single thought, many things didn't go so well after that... It was a scary week really.

So I am trying to reinvent my thoughts and I think finally getting the lappie back, most things are starting to fall back nicely into place and I'm starting to feel my mojo returning so it's great hahaha. And then the Power is working its Magic again :DD

Today has been hectic and it felt really fulfilling, I can't find a better word to describe it XD Colleagues at work are always making me laugh so much if I can burn fat from it, I'll prolly be skinny now LOL Kathy is trying to stop me from using negative words and the outcome has been hilarious! Angel and Helen is definitely not helping much by trying to egg me into committing those crimes. I told them to stop and Kathy was like, "Are you sure? We're helping you create some good memories." ROFLMAO. Tomorrow I'll remember to remind Kathy it's Angel's turn for the game, she's so guilty. In the middle of my discussion with Donna on the email problem she turned on the fan and have it directed at me resulting in my notes which I left on my desk went flying around WTH (>v<''|| )

Then while I was all bored and everything, I went out for lunch at the cafe in Mid Valley which I have been wanting to go for months! It turned out to be really awesome and due to acting all suspicious with my camera (was snapping away), I somehow ended up getting to know the manager of the place. We shook hands LOL Oh, I was with Nadia, the girl I've just come to befriend in this recent class. We're now connected on Twitter & FB and it is really great to finally have someone to be able to chat in Japanese with. She's been to Japan and gave me lotsa traveling tips, which is really useful! I'm envious she's been there before twice! Really soon, it'll be my turn.

Speaking of which, so many things to complete, besides continue-ing with the search for sponsors and planning for the trip, like finally!

Lappie’s down for now so I’m taking a break off the screen while I have my notebook sent for repairs. Even this post and the previous I have to have it published from a cyber café..

During this period, I shall take my time to plan for my upcoming trip to Japan in July!!!

It’s happening! ヽ(；▽；)ノI’m on cloud 9, maybe higher LOL

This trip’s gonna mark my maiden journey to my dream city and my being on board of a plane. And my first SOLO adventure too (though I won’t be alone there since I’ll be staying at a tomodachi’s place).

So many firsts, I’m super excited! Though mostly because it’s Japan!!

☆*:.｡.ヽ(≧▽≦)ノ .｡.:*☆

It’s just gonna be a short trip but I’m planning of making the most of it. Also, I’m crossing my fingers this wouldn’t be my one and only trip there, I want to explore ALL of Japan!! When I could afford more, I also want to buy from my favorite Japanese fashion brands~❤

Weeks after the trip, I’ll be on board the plane yet again. This time for an adventure in Chiang Mai with my newfound travel buddy. So two trips to plan! Wheee~

Despite my laptop broke down which means no proper Internet for the next 10 days, there are just so many things I am grateful for.

For one, I am thankful for being able to afford my own vacations.

Also I am grateful that the sachou gave me permission to take two holidays.

So, yayyyy!!ヽ(*⌒∇⌒*)ﾉ　*dances happily*

Before I sign off, kitty updates hahaha. It’s been making some appearance on my blog lately, ne. This is her hiding underneath the TV cabinet after I chased her around the living room. We try not to let her in anywhere further than the living room because our landlady wouldn’t allow her to do so. She was afraid of the thunder and was seeking refugee at our place; we suspect the neighbour accidentally locked her out. She stayed there unmoving until the rain subsided.

My blog topic should pretty much summarize the content of this blog post already. Still, I’m just going to repeat it: I’m looking for sponsors!

It is nothing new since last year I was more active in accepting sponsorships for reviews but then I decided to take a break to concentrate more on my Japanese classes. I still am studying, but I’m already getting used to the study workload and since I have some time to spare on my weekends.

This year however, I want to take up writing advertorials as paid assignments.

Why am I expecting being paid for advertorials?

Mostly because accepting sponsorship means dedicating my own free time to draft and write a blog post. Then snapping photos and editing which I usually do on weekends. And checking the post again before posting it.

Since it’s an advert assignment, I’ll be going an extra mile to promote your products too. Apart from these reasons, my portfolio would explain the rest in further detail.

Why didn’t I charge previously then?

Because beauty blogging was still new too me. I wouldn’t ask you to pay me for null, wouldn’t I? Personally I wouldn’t even buy a product I wouldn't use.

Would I stop writing reviews since I’m taking paid advertisement now?

Nope, I will still be writing reviews now and then. You will still find me raving over my favorite products from my own beauty hauls from time to time (・∀・)
