Neogence ACE Revitalizing and Renewing Review

Finally, as promised, a review for this set. Well, just a lil' intro about how I was introduced to this range. I actually just got my pimples cured about 6 weeks ago(this is after my 2 trips to Dr Ting's Clinic!)  and was looking for beauty products to clear the scars from the really hideous breakout. Then I happened to come across SASA's customer testimonial, posted on their FB here and the result was like too good to be true but I was like

(,OoO,)

and decided to give it a shot. LOL.

Ok, I'll skip the part on the product intro. It's gonna make this blog so frigging long. You can read it from Sasa's blog or Neogence website.

Now let's get into the review part!

STEP 1: Deep cleansing

Kick starting my beauty regime with this:

[caption id="attachment_1412" align="aligncenter" width="490"] Amino Acid Cleansing Mousse(50ml)[/caption]

[caption id="attachment_1398" align="aligncenter" width="490"] Fluffy ball of mousse~[/caption]
That's around 2-3 squeeze there. I usually pumped out twice and then put wash face and neck and massaging them in circular motion. I love how soft it feels on my skin! And I tell you, they don't call this step deep cleansing for nothing. Did a lil' experiment here:

[caption id="attachment_1404" align="aligncenter" width="490"] Experiment Step 1: Smear hand with Dr Young's BB Cream.[/caption]

[caption id="attachment_1405" align="aligncenter" width="490"] Step 2: Pump mousse onto hand and go "ooooohhhh" when mousse react with bb cream and vanish almost instantly![/caption]

[caption id="attachment_1406" align="aligncenter" width="490"] Step 3: Repeat step 2 and observe result. See da tiny residues left by the bb cream? Now just wash off with water and walah! Conclusion: behold the power of this mousse! Oh la lah~[/caption]
That should explain how well this mousse cleans! but I wouldn't advice you to just wash off your makeup this way. Preferably use a make up remover. LOL.Dry face with towel and you're ready for the next step!

Rating for this  mousse out of 5: ♥♥♥♥♥ oh yeah!*dance*

STEP 2: Water replenishment using ACE Intensive Whitening Lotion(30ml)

[caption id="attachment_1419" align="aligncenter" width="490"] ACE Intensive Whitening Lotion(30ml)[/caption]

[caption id="attachment_1353" align="aligncenter" width="490"] clear liquid~[/caption]
It is and odourless, clear toner that feels somewhat refreshing to the skin. I usually use more than this(photo above) and dab it onto my face and neck~ This bottle can last up to 4-6 weeks. This is one step you shouldn't be missing since they help absorbs the other ingredients better.

Rating out of 5: ♥♥♥♥

STEP 3: Water Lock-In

[caption id="attachment_1401" align="aligncenter" width="490"] ACE Revitalizing Hydrating Fluid(15ml)[/caption]

[caption id="attachment_1415" align="aligncenter" width="490"] Creamy gel texture~[/caption]
This one's suppose to hydrate, brighten skin and even has anti-aging factors.  Love the sweet scent! You're suppose to use a proper amount and then spread it slowly since they take time to absorb. I wouldn't recommend using too much, maybe a little less than a 10 cent coin since there's just always some left unabsorbed into the skin.

Rating out of 5: ♥♥♥♥

STEP 4: Tips. Special Care with ACE Revitalizing Eye Serum(3ml)

[caption id="attachment_1400" align="aligncenter" width="490"] ACE Revitalizing Eye Serum(3ml)[/caption]

[caption id="attachment_1402" align="aligncenter" width="490"] A translucent white gooey kinda texture~[/caption]
This eye serum has some sorta weird scent which I didn't really like it but I'm not entirely bothered by it.  Though I kinda don't like the packaging in a tube since the content leaks a lil' sometimes so it gets pretty messy at the cap part. As for the results, I sometime find this serum to be working pretty well in hiding my eye bags but not completely removing them, well at least not with my zombie lifestyle. My rating for this eye serum: ♥♥♥

STEP 5: Tips. Pre Make-up Skin Care

[caption id="attachment_1420" align="aligncenter" width="490"] Ace Pore Concealing and Revitalizing Base Gel(ml)[/caption]

[caption id="attachment_1408" align="aligncenter" width="490"] Creamy feel~[/caption]
Most of the time I skip this part since I don't put on makeup much, but yeah, just trying it out. I didn't see much difference after putting it on. It's suppose to make pores look smaller but mine just look the same anyway. I'm guessing it did, however even out the skin so that when you apply makeup, they'll look more even.

Rating: ♥♥ since (1) Don't use this often and (2)I don't fancy the container. It's so hard to squeeze the content out! WTH!

~♠~

And my conclusion? I absolutely LOVE this range! Especially the cleanser. I'm planning to use it for a while longer. Some of the very obvious observable results after using this set for a month includes fairer skin with healthier pinkish glow and a much more hydrated skin. In fact, these days I find my skin less oilier! Which is freaking awesome since my face don't appear 'shiny' or disgustingly oily(,>.<,) on photos anymore♥
Gotta apologize for not reviewing about the serum here since I wouldn't want to review something I haven't gotten the results yet. I've been using the serum for 1 week now together with this set but haven't seen much improvement so far.

I think it's because I mess up the steps a bit. For the past week, I've been using the serum after step 3, which I just realized is wrong since I'm suppose to apply them after step 2. Yeah, I'm this noob to this sorta stuff. Gahhhh~ So another review in a week or two for the ACE Neogence serum? Chow~!

[caption id="attachment_1490" align="aligncenter" width="490"] Restocking my Neogence stuff since I finished the ones from the mini set already![/caption]

[caption id="attachment_1491" align="aligncenter" width="490"] the ACE Revitalizing Hydrating Fluid comes with a spatula~[/caption]
~~~♠UPDATE ♠~~~
So I've been using ACE Neogence cleansing mousse+revitalizing hydrating fluid religiously for 2 months now and I just can't say how much I love them!! I realized I haven't gotten a single breakout ever since! Previously, one or two annoying zits usually pop up when I didn't get much sleep. But during the past weeks, with my zombie lifestyle, I have yet to notice any pimples breaking out. Amazing stuff! Totally swearing my loyalty to this brand ♥
ps, you can now read my ongoing review on ACE Neogence Liposome Renewal Whitening Serum here.
RainbowColor Cosmetic Lenses
So today went to Mid Valley to spend the last RM50 book voucher and decided to hopped by SASA to get this ACE Neogence serum(ACE Neogence Mini set review coming up! Promise!!) and I spotted Rainbow Color Cosmetic Contact Lenses on one of the shelves!
And yeah, I got myself a pair without power for RM58.
(≥v≤)/ My choice: Rainbow Colors in Storm Gray!
Here's the other color choices available at SASA *flipping through the pamphlet*
circle brown and circle black lenses for creating the large eyes effect
in Lilac Purple(too funky?) and Earth Brown~
In Sky Blue and Storm Gray (,OvO,)
Closed up on packaging:
uber cute packaging!
the content: a pair of contact lenses(duhh~!) with a container ♥
Was actually planning to try it on tomorrow after class but when I showed the lenses to my roomie, she eagerly wanted to see how the color turned up to be like. So walah!
Without the lenses
Lovely subtle gray~
Oooh!! I'm loving this color! Initially I was worried that it might appear too light and looked fake but hell was I wrong_the gray looked totally natural! This color's gonna be my favorite!
This lenses doesn't do much of a difference enlargement-wise. As for comfort, they stayed really well in the eyes but I would not suggest long hours of wear since I realized my eyes get really tired which I think is due to dryness caused by the lens.
But anyhow, I would really love to get more of these! The next color I'm gonna get next time would be sky blue v(^v^,) Kinda hope they'll produce other color lenses in future, preferably in shades of subtle green or pink!!
Details of Rainbow Color contact lenses are as follow:
Manufacturer: RainbowColor
Diameter : 14.2 mm
Life Span : 3 months disposable
Base Curve : 8.6mm
F.Y.I., Rainbow Color contact lenses are produced by Malaysian gyaru blogger, Cheesie. See her link on Rainbow Color here and can be purchased from SASA outlets(without power) or TokyoNinki(with power) at RM58 per box or RM43.50 each with purchase of 3 boxes+1 free box! v(≥vO,)
Another shot to emphasize on the lens color~
Makan trip with bro(Part IV)
So like my bro's suppose to fly back to Germany last weekend and he said he was already missing the okonomiyaki we had at Hokkaido Ichiban(from makan trip post part I) and so just hours before his flight, we decided to go Mid Valley. Yeah, it's THAT addictive!
So walah, a filling main course:
[caption id="attachment_1275" align="aligncenter" width="490" caption="Ham and Cheese Okonomiyaki, again!"][/caption]
Side dish:
[caption id="attachment_1283" align="aligncenter" width="490" caption="Yummy!!!"][/caption]
[caption id="attachment_1279" align="aligncenter" width="490" caption="Japanese Iced Coffee"][/caption]
[caption id="attachment_1274" align="aligncenter" width="490" caption="Choya Umeshu or fermented plum v(Ov<)v"][/caption]
The smaller cup is filled with honey. The umeshu tasted good it's own, sweet with a little sourish hint. Still, I prefer it with honey better. So worth it!!
And even though we were already kinda full, we just couldn't miss out the ice creams! So walah~ With mah all time favorite and 3 other flavors!
[caption id="attachment_1276" align="aligncenter" width="490" caption="Yuzu sherbet and Niagara Wine flavors!"][/caption]
[caption id="attachment_1281" align="aligncenter" width="490" caption="Toubiki(Hokkaido Corn) and Hokkaido Melon flavors! I'm adding Hokkaido Melon as a personal favorite~!! ♥"][/caption]
And we were walking around The Gardens and spotted this at Action City: Rilakkuma heaven!!!
[caption id="attachment_1282" align="aligncenter" width="490" caption="I want them all!! ALL!!!"][/caption]
[caption id="attachment_1278" align="aligncenter" width="490" caption="My bro wants these!!"][/caption]
China Glaze For Audrey Swatch
Finally, a post on another China Glaze nail polish that I've gotten weeks ago. Take me forever to make one '(,=v=,'')
The first photo is the closest to the exact color~
[caption id="attachment_1140" align="aligncenter" width="490" caption="China Glaze 'For Audrey'"][/caption]
[caption id="attachment_1141" align="aligncenter" width="490" caption="In another different lighting~"][/caption]
For Audrey is a almost turquoise kinda blue, which gives it a really vintage-y kinda look. If you're a fan of vintage stuff, this is so for you. And speaking of vintage, check out my vintage Audrey ring!
[caption id="attachment_1143" align="aligncenter" width="490" caption="Don't ya' just love the ring?"][/caption]
And ooh~ Just comparing 'For Audrey' with my Dolly Wink's sky blue and turquoise. The color is something between those two, isn't it. Lovely combo~! v(OvO,)
ps, never mind my messy table at the background (,>.<,)
Mah supper today~
[caption id="attachment_1260" align="aligncenter" width="490" caption="Strawberries~~~♥ (≧▽≦/)"][/caption]
Dessert~!
Yesterday, after dinner, my roomie and I decided to check out the pasar, Malay for market at Broga.
Here's what we found: Tau fu fah! For those who don't know, it's Mandarin(I think) for soybean curd. I usually call it 'tau hua', which is Hokkien for the same thing-lah~
[caption id="attachment_1242" align="aligncenter" width="490"] One whole large bucket of tau fu fah!! (OAO/)[/caption]
OMG. Was so tempted to eat the whole bucket~! The other two little buckets contain syrup to go with the tau fu fah(usually tasteless). The yellow one is a gingerly kinda syrup while the black one is 'gula Melaka' which is my all time favorite!
[caption id="attachment_1243" align="aligncenter" width="490"] close up~ see the silky smooth surface?[/caption]
[caption id="attachment_1244" align="aligncenter" width="480"] scooping tau fu fah into the containers~[/caption]
[caption id="attachment_1248" align="aligncenter" width="490"] Gula Melaka settling at the bottom of the container~[/caption]
Da verdict~ This one's a lil' too smooth. It's texture is more like that of a pudding than bean curd, in my opinion. Still, it's okie~ (,OvO,)
