Kami nomi zo shiru sekai II

I've been looking forward for TWGOK season 2 but was a little disappointed since he only 'conquered' 4 heroines in that 12 episodes

(,T-T,)

Why?? Can't they just have more episodes in every season?

I was hoping for the episodes when Keima conquers Tsukiyo and Tenri since they're actually my two favourite heroine besides  Elsie of course!

Keima, Elsie and all the other 4 heroines in TWGOK Season II

2012 Day 3 and Day 4 of CNY in Johor~!

Updates! Photos from the road trip this CNY (^v^)

DAY 3: JOHOR!

After dropping my sis off and doing a lil' spring cleaning in my second home the day before, we headed down south to Johor to visit my aunt~

This is the room we were staying in. See the wooden frame? No, it's not the floor.

It's somewhat like a bed frame except that it's larger, without a head board and occupies most spaces of the room with a closed compartment underneath for storage. Traditional Chinese houses(mostly wooden, like my aunt's) and some old flats(my paternal grandma's previous flat) have them in the bedrooms. Some are wooden like the one shown in the photo while others are made of cement.

I love it so much 'cuz it so Japanese-y. And you can choose to sleep on the frame just like that or arrange mattresses on it, then fold them the morning after(like a futon).

~~~
And then later in evening we went to hang around in Johor Premium Outlet(the other only reason we decide to go to Johor), which was newly open at Kulai Jaya. Brands like Guess , Burberry, Lacoste, Fossil, Calvin Klein and many other designer outlets featuring many items selling at discounted prices!
Guess what caught my attention the most were handbags from Guess, Fossil and Roxy but I didn't get any since I don't see the point buying so many handbags and I've gotten one from Polo by Ralph Lauren already  (,>.<,) Maybe next time!! <3
~~~

Aunt gave me an ang pow. Weeheee~! (^v^/)

Such pretty red packet.

~~~
DAY 4: Melaka!
Decided to hang aroung Melaka on the way home. Boy, was the traffic horrendous! We were stuck in the jam for maybe one and a half hour on our way to the city.
We were hanging around at Dataran Pahlawan after tea break and mom decided we should at least get on the revolving tower we saw.
This is how the revolving Menara Taming Sari ride looks like. Mom and I are queuing~ Dad refuses to get on since he's worried he might get nausea from the height (>.<)
This is the view 80m high up~ See the replica of the 80s ship there? It's a museum but we didn't get to check the place out since it was already closed:(
From high up, mom and I saw the ferry cruise and thought we should get on that as well!! Hahaha!
So walah! We got on the cruise along Melaka River.
Check out the buildings along the Melaka River with walls painted with murals depicting the history of the state(first photo) and some traditional local delicacies and even the largest flower, Rafflesia, which can be found in Sabah forest which is located to the East of Malaysia(second photo below).
Tickets to both rides, only RM10 per adult.
While browsing through the souvenirs stalls along the road, we spotted some magnets. Mom just love collecting magnets. Can't believe we haven't even bothered to collect them from each states(Mah sister got us some from the USA)! Now mom and I will be hunting for souvenir magnets from all over the states in Malaysia to complete the collection!
More traveling in future? That's gonna be awesome!!!
Here's the magnet we got. 3 for RM10. I chose the one on the right, a cute magnet of a double story baba and nyonya house or shop house, I'm not sure. Mom chose the rest.
OPI Nail swatches
Just some random swatches for the OPI colors I've just gotten.
Here's OPI Italian Love Affair, a light pearly pink which I think is a little to light and really striking with my tanned skin...
This photo isn't doing OPI Come to Poppy any justice. There's two tones, the lighter pink and the glittery coral tone which actually appear better looking than in this photo but I forgot to get another snapshot before removing them... (>.<)
Here's OPI Dulce de Leche, my favourite color besides My Address is Hollywood shown in my previous posts. A pinkish nude color that goes really well with my skin tone <3 <3
And I got myself Essie Matte Top Coat for fun since I really like the matte yellow and light blue nail polish from The Face Shop.
This is how OPI Dulce de Leche look with a single matte coating. I have the top coat on the thumb, index and middle finger. Simply wanna make a comparison here~
Mags I love~
Currently reading Popteen February 2012 issues. It's my first time reading Popteen and OMG I'm loving it. It's gonna be my favourite after VIVI and NailUp magazine now.
In the issue there were many yukata shots and they're all so pretty~!!
And in the first couple pages, they featured all the fukubukuros sold during the New Year which adds to the awesomeness(*^*/)
These are some of the fukubukuros from Liz Lisa:
Aww~~ Love the green kimono (^v^)/
And I saw this: Nail Up March 2012 featuring Tsubasa!! Can't wait to get my hands on the issue :3
Planning to get a couple of FIMO after CNY to do some nail art.
weeeheee~! (^v^/)
Designed a few other nail designs so I can't wait to get my design off the paper~
2012 CNY Day 5: Back from Perak day trip
Just got back from  4-day road trip with my parents. Man am I tired from driving even when I'm just taking turns with my dad (>.<)
While on our way home, we decided to stopped by Seen Hock Yeen temple at Chemor. We were dropping by Perak when my mom remembered reading about this temple somewhere in the newspaper and with a lil' asking around, we found our destination~
It appears that this temple is somewhat a tourist attraction_there were a whole bunch of them, with their guides explaining the history behind the temple and leading the prayers and stuff(I didn't understand, really).
This is the view of the main building facing the man-made lake:
Lotus grown at one side of the lake with another part of the temple at the background:
There are golden statues of the 12 animals aligned by the side of the lake(no photos >.<) and my dad were happily goofing around, asking me to get a photo beside his animal sign...
I was like sweat...
|||''(,=.=),'''|||
but took them anyway. ROFL!
And of course, we went around offering prayers and sandlewood(I think) powder as replacement of incense and then hung around a lil' bit more enjoying the scenery before hitting the road again.
Mah sista's~ in Dolly Wink blue and turqoise with glitter~ Love how her nails+shoes go so well with the tar background. Too bad her Blackberry's resolution so low.
So, first day of CNY is about visiting relatives so off we go to Penang, mah hometown. Best place in Malaysia!!! And this year I'm so hepi!! So nice to have my sister back. How many years has it been since I have company for CNY?
(,TvT,)
So we travelled the entire Penang Island, hopping around to visit all our relatives there. Yessieee, all but 2 actually but it was still ok~
Penang is all about food so walahh~! Some food shots or as my friend call it_foodography!
This is what we had for dinner~
Rojak or fruit salad with sweet-spicy gravy.
Pasembur, another version of rojak but with a mixture of vegetables, tofu, prawn cracker, steam potatoes and fishball(anything of your choice, really. you can even opt for fried crab!!) in sweet chilli gravy.
Char Koey Teow or translated to fried Koey Teow.
